Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care pharmacy team. You will work under supervision, maintain floor stock, and assist with packaging, shipping, and quality control of medications.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma, Ohio technician license, and the ability to stand for long periods. Shift options include evening and overnight to support 2nd and 3rd shifts, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to train on 1st shift 9am-5:30pm for 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Shift: Monday- Friday and every other weekend

• 6pm-2:30am
• 10pm-6:30am
