Job summary

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy in Columbus, OH. We are hiring a Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician or trainee to support daily operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining floor stock, prepacking for floor bulk meds, packaging and shipping medications, ensuring policy compliance, and collaborating with the team. Shift options: 8am–4:30pm or 6pm–2:30am, Monday–Friday. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO and EAP.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician or trainee required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
  • Package fill and ship medications.
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities
  • Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
