Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a Long-Term Care pharmacy. The role includes responsibilities such as maintaining stock, packaging, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure quality and compliance.

The position offers a weekend shift (Friday–Monday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM) with various benefits and career advancement opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision.
• Experience with Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, restock, and remove expired medications.
• Rotate stock to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package, fill and ship medications.
• Adhere to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
