Job summary

Ultra Tool & Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Lab Manager in Wisconsin to organize and direct the Quality Lab activities, ensuring accurate inspections, calibrations, and quality processes. You will review inspection results, update control plans, and manage the Quality department to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating MRB meetings, responding to NCM requests, and communicating results to management.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and quality inspection skills.
• Education: Associate's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of production and tooling First Piece inspections.
• Ensure floor inspections are completed at prescribed intervals.
• Ensure gage calibrations are completed on schedule.
• Organize monthly MRB meetings to disposition nonconforming material (NCM).
• Respond to customer NCM requests and create RMAs when warranted.
• Communicate inspection results to appropriate managers.
• Review inspection results and update Control Plans as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Quality Lab.
• Supervise and manage Quality department.
• Stop production when parts are found to be out of tolerance.

• Education/Training: Associate's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
• Experience: 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
