Job summary

Henkel in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to support the Adhesive Technologies unit. You will perform QC testing in a lab, calculate and report results, and record data in SAP while maintaining 5S and calibrating lab equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in QC labs, an associate degree or equivalent lab experience, and strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills. OT may be required; health and safety standards are a must.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing Quality Control testing environment.
• Associate degree OR 2+ years of experience working in a Laboratory environment.
• Technically adept in wet chemistry, analytical methods and sophisticated technologies.
• Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills in laboratory testing and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to follow through on responsibilities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Work with others in a respectful manner and as a member of the team to achieve all goals set forth in the department.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Understanding of ISO, IATF.

• Perform standard quality control testing, in a laboratory setting, on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to defined specifications.
• Calculate and report test results.
• Record test data into SAP.
• Maintain retain samples.
• Maintain lab equipment in proper working order and perform equipment calibrations.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures and regulations.
• Complete all assignments and responsibilities entailing the 5S of the Quality Department and any assigned projects by supervisor or manager.

What you´ll do

The salary range for this role is $50,465.00 to $61,562.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training and work location.
