Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Quality Engineer to own NCMR processes, drive root-cause analyses, and coordinate investigations across manufacturing and engineering teams. You will monitor quality metrics, suggest improvements, and help implement ISO 9001 compliant systems.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years in a manufacturing quality role. Travel willingness is desirable; SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • 2+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or related environment.
  • Experience with material review board and NCMR coordination.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality/safety systems.
  • Proven problem-solving using 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, and data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead NCMR process including containment, disposition decisions, investigation coordination, and timely closure of actions.
  • Lead quality issue resolution through root cause analysis, 8D investigations, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality systems, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and technical teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality systems and processes, supporting customer requests and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive the Non‑Conformance Material Review (NCMR) process, including containment, disposition decisions, investigation coordination, and timely closure of actions.
  • Lead quality issue resolution through root cause analysis, 8D investigations, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality systems, policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and technical teams to resolve quality issues and implement process and product quality improvements.
  • Provide training, guidance, and day‑to‑day support on quality systems and processes, while supporting customer requests and strategic quality initiatives.
What Makes You a Good Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, with 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or related industrial environment.
  • Experience with material review board, NCMR coordination, quality systems and standards, including ISO 9001 and other relevant quality, environmental, and safety management systems.
  • Proven experience with problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams and manage customer requirements.
  • Proficiency with SAP systems, Microsoft Office and quality management tools; experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing environments and willingness to travel are highly desirable.

Salary and Compensation

The salary range for this role is $73,000.00 and $107,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
