Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Supplier Quality professional to lead quality activities across our adhesive technologies. You will drive supplier performance, analyze data for continuous improvement, and collaborate with Quality, R&D, Operations and Procurement teams at our Elgin site in Illinois.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 3+ years in supplier quality, and strong problem‑solving skills including 8D and RCA. Bilingual English/Spanish and SAP/ERP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Supplier Management.
  • Experience with supplier audits, onboarding, complaint management, and quality systems.
  • Strong problem‑Solving skills using tools such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Data Analysis.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required; SAP/ERP experience and FMCG or Automotive industry experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Supplier quality activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Drive the cost collection process within our sites and trigger the cost recovery process with suppliers.
  • Drive supplier complaint resolution, including 8d investigations, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
  • Analyze supplier quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Quality, R7D, Operations, and Procurement teams to strengthen supplier performance and reliability.

The salary range for this role is $80000.00 and $85000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
