Job summary

Pratt Industries in the United States (Ohio) seeks a Plant Continuous Improvement & Safety Leader to drive quality and safety across production. You will lead the Quality Management System, coach teams, and implement root-cause analysis to reduce defects and costs while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in quality system management or manufacturing leadership.
• Proficient with MS Office and statistical software.
• Previous ISO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Quality Management System at the plant.
• Drives Continuous Improvement to improve costs, quality and service.
• Tracks vendor performance, resolves customer complaints and analyzes quality data.
• Investigates critical quality defects on in-process and finished products; analyzes data and reports.
• Supports safety as a top priority in training, job design and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures product quality and right first time performance; drives continuous improvement teams.
• Communicates needs of quality and safety operations to Production/Plant Manager and management.
• Develops methods to reduce costs and improve processes while ensuring a safe work environment.
