Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Quality/Safety Manager II for Children’s Services to oversee QAPI and safety programs, collect and analyze quality data, benchmark performance, and lead multidisciplinary teams toward improvement.

Reporting to System Quality Director and collaborating with ICCE leadership, you will manage a team including coordinators, analysts, and registry staff; position funded by philanthropy for 3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with 7+ years of quality/performance improvement experience.
• Master’s degree in a health-related field with 3+ years of healthcare experience in quality improvement.
• Certification as CPHQ or CPPS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the QAPI and safety program, collect/analyze quality data and benchmark performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve performance and present measures to governance groups.
