Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a System Quality and Safety Manager to support QAPI and safety programs across the Path/Lab ICCE system. You will collaborate with leadership, collect and analyze quality data, and lead multidisciplinary teams to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities include regulatory and accreditation support for pathology and laboratory services across the health system, and KPI implementation for all sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related medical/scientific discipline or an Associate with CLIA-equivalent oversight.
• 5+ years related work experience or a Master’s with 3+ years related work experience.
• Must have passed recognized MLS/CLS certification exam and ASCP BOC or AMT MLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Support QAPI and safety programs across the Path/Lab ICCE system.
• Monitor data trends and assist in regulatory/accreditation activities across hospital and ambulatory labs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve performance and implement system KPI’s.
