Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Quality and Safety Program Coordinator to support Ambulatory Pediatrics under the Primary Care ICCE. Under supervision, you will collect and analyze quality, safety, and regulatory data, coordinate with physicians, nurses, and clinic leadership to drive improvement, and present performance results to governance groups.

You will help develop performance improvement strategies, maintain accreditation readiness, and support governance structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and at least 5 years in quality/performance improvement.
• Or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of healthcare quality experience.
• Direct report leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, analyze, and assess quality, safety, and operational data.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to disseminate findings.
• Benchmark performance against internal and external standards.
• Facilitate quality improvement projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare reports and present results to oversight and governance committees.
