Job summary

Valley Health in Huntington, WV seeks a Quality, Risk & Patient Safety Administrator to provide operational leadership for quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and clinical compliance across the system.

Under the Chief Quality Officer, you will coordinate programs, monitor measures, investigate safety events, perform RCAs, and develop corrective actions to promote safe, high-quality care while reducing risk.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in clinical leadership, quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, or related coordination preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EHRs and incident reporting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization-wide quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate quality improvement plans.
• Monitor KPIs and quality metrics.
• Analyze clinical outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate documentation, tracking, and evaluation of quality initiatives.
• Investigate patient safety events and facilitate RCAs.
