Encompass Health is seeking a Quality/Risk Director to lead hospital-wide quality management and patient safety initiatives in Huntington, WV. You will align with stakeholders to monitor care quality, coordinate regulatory compliance, and implement performance improvement plans.

The role emphasizes collaboration, use of clinical data, and leading risk management activities while advancing organizational policies and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field is preferred.
• License or Certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in Quality and/or Risk Management with performance improvement and regulatory compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, accrediting agencies, policies, and procedures.
• Assess compliance with federal, state, and industry standards and coordinate remediation when needed.
• Utilize applications like PatCom, UDS, ORYX, and Press Ganey to identify improvements and generate reports.
• Maintain hospital plans across Care, Leadership, Information Management, Utilization Review, Infection Control, and Patient Safety.
• Oversee risk management activities, incident reporting, and corrective action planning.
• Coordinate review, development, and implementation of hospital policies.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve patient concerns and communicate outcomes.
