Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Quality/Risk Director to oversee the hospital-wide quality management program and collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and enhance patient care services. You will lead efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field preferred.
• Experience in Quality and/or Risk Management with performance improvement focus.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital-wide quality assessment and improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and accreditation standards and coordinate surveys.
• Utilize applications (PatCom, UDS, ORYX, Press Ganey) to identify improvements and report findings.
• Maintain hospital plans (Provision of Care, Leadership, Infection Control, Patient Safety) and oversee risk management activities.
• Coordinate policy development and collaborate with departments to address patient concerns.
