Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Quality/Risk Director to oversee the hospital-wide quality management program and collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and enhance patient care services. The role emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards and coordination across departments, leveraging tools like PatCom, UDS, ORYX, and Press Ganey to drive improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• License or Certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in Quality and/or Risk Management with regulatory compliance and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospital-wide quality and risk management programs are compliant with regulatory standards.
• Assess regulatory and accreditation standards and coordinate surveys and remediation activities.
• Utilize tools (PatCom, UDS, ORYX, Press Ganey) to identify improvement opportunities and generate reports.
• Oversee hospital plans related to care provision, leadership, information management, utilization review, infection control, and patient safety.
• Coordinate policy review, development, and implementation and collaborate with departments to resolve patient concerns.
