Reworkers also rework recoverable product and ensure proper packaging. The job requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in a 55°F environment on 2nd shift. Pay is $18.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Identify product quality defects and follow established quality standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product as it passes along the conveyor belt for quality defects.
• Remove improperly formed pieces, partial pieces, damaged product, or other non-conforming product and place it in designated containers.
• Identify and remove bones, foreign material, or contaminants and notify supervisor or group leader of findings.
• Remove overlapping product to ensure proper product presentation and packaging.
• Inspect bags for proper seals, leveling, and package integrity.
• Rework eligible product by returning it to the appropriate stage of production.
• Maintain product quality standards and follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
