Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Reworker Labor Team Member in Mississippi. This role focuses on reworking poultry products to maximize yield while maintaining food safety and production standards.

You will identify, sort, process, and reintroduce approved products into the production line, working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The position requires handling and sorting, with duties spanning inventory management, documentation, and routine housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and process product designated for rework according to plant procedures.
• Inspect and sort product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Open packages and remove products for reprocessing as needed.
• Dispose of packaging materials and waste in designated containers.
• Rotate and manage rework inventory using established procedures.
• Record and maintain accurate production and inventory documentation.
• Perform quality checks and follow all food safety requirements.
• Stack, move, and transport product and materials throughout the department.
• Assist with loading and unloading product when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping activities.
• Support production operations by performing assigned job rotations and cross-training activities.
• Follow all Tyson policies regarding safety, food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
