Job summary

KLN Family Brands/Kenny’s Candy & Confections in Perham, MN invites college juniors and seniors to join our Quality & Regulatory Internship for summer 2027. You’ll work with operations, engineering, quality, and regulatory teams to support production, investigate quality issues, and help develop training content.

Compensation starts at $17.94 per hour and internships run 10–12 weeks on-site at our Perham facility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field
• Ability to dedicate 10–12 weeks for Summer 2027 internship
• Willingness to learn and work in a team
• On-site work at Perham, MN facility

Responsibilities

• Provide support to production operations and address issues as they arise
• Develop understanding of cross-functional problem-solving
• Investigate and resolve product quality issues as needed
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to maintain quality
• Develop POKA training content
• Contribute to quality process development for new fruit extrusion products
