Qualifications

• 15 years of experience solving client issues in Quality, Transportation, Transit, Rail, Aviation and design practice.
• Experience managing diverse teams and delivering high-quality projects.
• Registration with a professional/engineering body and strong technical expertise.
• Ability to work with operations, technical, and marketing managers on professional services.
• Committed to quality and HDR values.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate area staff competencies to meet client needs and market drivers.
• Lead training and development of area staff in technical and business skills.
• Balance workload and ensure qualified staffing of project teams with QA/QC oversight.
• Oversee QC review activities and assign experienced reviewers.
• Lead continuous improvement through standards, procedures and lessons learned.
• Support hiring and retention of key staff in the area.
• Champion BGX opportunities and cross-sector collaboration.
