Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions US Inc is seeking a leader for the Quality Receiving Inspection Department in a warehouse/logistics setting. You will guide daily inspection priorities, lead inspectors, and ensure safety and high standards.

You will train technicians, manage RMAs, and coordinate root cause investigations with Purchasing and Sales teams. The role requires strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills, with 20% time on the production floor and 80% in the office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Inspection.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and quality conscientiousness.
• Must be responsible, self-motivated and able to function well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Inspection Department from planning to HR functions.
• Assign and prioritize workflow for Receiving Inspection to inspect all incoming material.
• Lead QRI for receiving inspections of purchased materials and outside services.
• Coach, record, and deliver corrective actions as necessary.
• Train, coach and develop QRI Technicians and prioritize QRI workflow.
• Process RMAs related to customer complaints and product returns.
• Coordinate supplier root cause investigation (RCI) and corrective actions (CA’s) with Purchasing.
• Coordinate RCI and CA responses to customer via Sales/Marketing CSA’s.
• Perform JDE inventory management transactions for customer returns and internal scrap.
