Job summary

Trelleborg is seeking a senior Quality Manager to lead quality activities across QA, inspection, material testing and audits. You will maintain the QMS, ensure compliance with ISO/AS standards, and train teams in root-cause analysis and 8D problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years of ISO 9001 quality systems experience.
• Experience in planning and leading team activities and verifying results to meet customer expectations.
• Experience in implementing improvements and/or corrective actions with cross functional teams; Lean Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Ability to assess product compliance to requirements; Material Review Board experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with statistical software such as Minitab and other relevant systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate quality-related activities across Quality Assurance, Inspection, Material Testing, Auditing, Document Control and Quality Planning.
• Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance with applicable agency standards (e.g. ISO, AS9100, Nadcap, ASTM) and customer requirements.
• Develop and deliver quality related training on topics such as root cause analysis, 8D problem solving and continuous improvement tools.
• Serve as a technical point of contact on the production floor, guiding implementation of quality improvements and verifying effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support process capability assessments and risk evaluations.
• Serve as a primary customer interface for quality matters including corrective actions, audits and performance concerns.
• Participate in and support continuous improvement of site certification programs (e.g. AS9100, ISO14001 ISO45001) to meet plant goals and business objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.
