Job summary

ASML US, LP in Wilton, CT seeks a Factory Quality Production Engineer to join a precision high-tech manufacturing team. You will implement production tests, drive SPC targets, and support audits while collaborating with Optical, Mechanical, Electrical and Software groups.

The role involves hands-on cleanroom work up to 50% of time, data-driven process improvements, and cross-functional problem solving to improve product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering (Preferred Quality/Industrial).
• 2+ years in an engineering environment with BS; or 0+ years with MS.
• Experience in production environment with high tech products and complex production process.
• Experience in Quality and Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed support for Statistical Process Control (SPC) parameters and maintenance like CTQ and CTC target setting, monitoring, and offline reviews.
• Facilitate ongoing and planned PFMEA reviews and follow-up actions.
• Facilitate DOA investigations along with the DOA process.
• Spends up to 50% of time in the Cleanroom providing direct support to production for quality improvements, data collection and monitoring.
• Utilize SPC data and analysis reports to drive teams towards structural process improvements and trustworthy SPC data targets.
• Chair cross-sector SPC review meetings to present and analyze data.
• Generate and distribute SPC reports for multiple modules on a weekly basis.
• Work with Engineering and Assembly staff within Optical, Mechanical, Electrical and Software Disciplines to develop Quality Processes and BKMs.
• Provide input for and utilize quality templates, tools and systems to streamline processes.
• Generate action plans for underperforming KPIs with teams for structural solutions.
• Develop and improve reporting tools with goals to automate data collection and input.
• Support ISO readiness and Manufacturing Quality audits.
• Support Quality Management Meetings and 6P reviews.
• Assist Production Assembly and Test Engineers with in-production quality issues.
• Review Failure Analysis Reports and validate root cause; interface with customers.
