Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer to provide hands-on engineering support for manufacturing teams and resolve technical issues impacting production. You will develop troubleshooting guides, root-cause analyses, and drive process improvements to ensure product quality and efficiency.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with experience in manufacturing environments, familiarity with drawings, and knowledge of data analysis tools such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or engineering operations in a technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and optical drawings.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly, alignment, tooling, and test equipment.
• FMEA or SPC knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, or Siemens NX is a plus.
• Knowledge of optical, electro-mechanical, or sensor-based systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing teams.
• Resolve technical issues impacting production and improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and root-cause analyses.
• Support manufacturing procedures and engineering documentation.
• Review drawings to identify manufacturing concerns and resolve issues.
