Job summary

Walmart in Porterville, CA is seeking a Process Improvement Lead to drive Quality Excellence within a Distribution Center using 5S, Six Sigma, and time-and-motion studies to eliminate losses and deviations.

You will analyze KPI data, build standard work to reduce process variation, and feed deviations to One Best Way playbooks while mentoring area managers and associates to raise performance and sustain improvements across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Quality or Process Improvement OR 2 years' relevant work experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads Process Improvement tools and methods (5S, six sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate quality losses and deviations in a Distribution Center.
• Reviews and responds to Quality focused process improvement projects owned by area managers.
• Compiles deviations to One Best Way playbooks and provides input to improvement teams on ideation and replication opportunities.
• Manages project execution of top Quality losses and builds capability of other area managers and associates.
