Amcor is seeking a quality-focused leader to drive safety, quality systems, and process improvements at our manufacturing site. You will supervise the Quality Department, coordinate with Sales and R&D on specifications, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of manufacturing experience with a background in Six Sigma and QA leadership. A Bachelor’s in engineering is required, with SAP and MS Office proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a technical/quality management role.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety initiatives with EHS Manager to maintain a safe work environment.
• Supervise direct reports including performance reviews, hiring, salary administration, training, and discipline.
• Direct activities of Process Engineers and Quality Department to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, waste reduction, and throughput improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Food Defense and Product Safety systems.
• Assist in product development ensuring design control and scale-up protocols are met.
• Administer QA specs, orders, waivers, and projects in Amcor systems.
• Oversee internal validations and Design of Experiments to optimize processes.
• Maintain quality systems and procedures to comply with customer requirements.
• Promote CI culture and deploy improvement initiatives across the plant.
