Job summary

Storyteller Overland in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Quality & Process Engineer to join its TED team. You will work with production, quality, purchasing, service, and management to continuously improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

You will develop standardized work, support design validation, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and CAPA.

The role requires hands-on participation on the factory floor, strong teamwork, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety, quality, and operational performance.
• Develop standard work instructions and procedures.
• Lead engineering change management activities.
• Conduct time studies, cycle time analysis, line balancing, and workflow assessments.
• Support RCA and CAPA implementation to eliminate recurring issues.
• Contribute to APQP processes including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PPAP.
