Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services, LLC in Alabama is hiring a quality/process engineer to drive improvements across metal fabrication operations. You will plan, organize, and manage quality goals, design experimental programs, and lead cross-functional teams to implement new methods and tools.

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and FARO/CMM; proficiency in MS Office; experience with FMEA, PPAP, FAI, CP; ISO 9001:2015 audits; ability to lift

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and manage the achievement of quality goals.
Provide direction and guidance in design, development and application of new technologies.
Mentor and provide ongoing teaching and assistance to others.
Communicate effectively with internal and external individuals, including management.
Identify quality roadblocks that impact other departments’ abilities and efficiencies, and work cross-functionally to develop process improvement.
Identify critical work objectives and monitor expenditures impact on business results and customer satisfaction.
Stay current on changes, innovations and trends in focus areas by networking and continuing education events.
