Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Packaging Associate to perform final review of finished products and packaging materials, ensuring quality before delivery to customers. You will package products across lines, operate packaging equipment, and maintain compliance with GMP/SQF, PPE and safety requirements.

The role involves standing on cement floors, lifting up to 30 lbs, and assisting in restocking, scrap management, and LEAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk constantly on a cement floor.
• Adhere to GMP/SQF, PPE, and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive packaging tasks.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect finished products and packaging materials for quality.
• Package products for delivery to customers across all lines.
• Communicate any concerns to Supervisors and Quality Auditor.
• Operate and adjust packaging equipment such as inkjet printers, baggers and sealers.
• Restock packaging materials as needed; assist in scrap management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and follow standard work procedures.
