Job summary

Packaging and quality associate needed to evaluate finished product and ensure labels and quantities meet standards. The role requires handling cooked product, running packaging equipment, labeling, boxing and palletizing for shipping in a fast-paced facility.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math and strong attention to quality and safety. Ability to stand 8–9 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow GMP/HACCP/SQF guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and SQF guidelines.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and counting quantities.
  • Clear communication to follow work orders and report issues.
  • Ability to work safely and maintain product quality.
  • Experience with packaging lines and labeling processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished product for deficiencies during packaging.
  • Package product with correct labeling and consistent quantities.
  • Operate or monitor packaging equipment and conveyors.
  • Label, sort and palletize packaged products for shipping.
  • Maintain containers, boxes and packing materials; ensure cleanliness.
  • Report food safety or quality problems to supervisor or QA.
  • Adhere to GMP, HACCP and SQF guidelines throughout shift.
