Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead quality operations in a GMP-regulated food manufacturing facility in Janesville, Wisconsin. You will supervise quality technicians, leads, and operators while ensuring adherence to food safety, regulatory standards, and quality programs.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in food manufacturing quality systems, supervision, and a passion for maintaining product excellence through employee training and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of quality experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (food preferred).
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Quality Control/QA programs in production settings.
• GMP, HACCP familiarity and food safety knowledge.
• Ability to perform basic lab testing (pH, fat).
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of quality professionals to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Perform and oversee lab testing of in-process and finished products (pH/fat).
• Review batch records and maintain compliant documentation.
• Support audits and respond to inquiries from customers/regulators.
• Train new employees on GMP, testing methods, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and other departments to improve products.
