IPM Foods in Janesville, WI is seeking a Quality Control Technician to conduct product testing on the production line and within the facility to ensure that all products meet established quality, safety, and specification standards. This role combines in process line checks, equipment calibrations, and facility wide quality monitoring to support continuous compliance.

The position requires attention to detail and experience with testing equipment; GMP and food safety knowledge is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in food manufacturing quality control or laboratory testing preferred.
• Ability to follow written specifications, measurement procedures, and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate data collection and documentation.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record management.
• Ability to use testing equipment including scales, thermometers, X ray machines, and conductivity meters.
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety requirements preferred.

Aufgaben

• Verify lot numbers, use by dates, batch codes and weights before runs.
• Set up printers, weight checker, and X ray machines at start of runs.
• Perform X ray and weight checks every hour during production.
• Enter production data accurately into the computer system.
• Collect samples for preoperational testing at run start.
• Test product weight, temperature, salt content, volume, drain weight, and noodle weight as required every 15 minutes.
• Perform conductivity testing and verify weights at intervals.
• Check seal integrity and measure seal width on samples.
• Print and verify all production data after each run and validate equipment end-of-run.
• Clean the testing and work area after production.
