Job summary

Select Custom Solutions in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead QA technicians across three shifts on the production floor, ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage SQF, NSF audits, HACCP reviews, GMPs, and corrective actions, develop training, and collaborate with production, maintenance and sourcing to drive first-pass quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field required.
• Minimum two (2) years of quality assurance/quality control experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP certification and SQF Practitioner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA Technicians across three shifts on the production floor.
• Manage SQF, NSF audits and other certifications (Organic, Halal, Kosher, Gluten Free).
• Maintain GMPs, HACCP, and preventive controls; conduct internal audits and mock recalls.
• Coordinate corrective actions and supplier complaints; ensure timely responses to customers.
• Provide plant-wide food safety training and update QA procedures as needed.
• Act as primary SQF practitioner in absence of QA Manager.
