Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift personnel in our Wisconsin facility, ensuring consistent manufacture of finished products that meet quality and customer requirements. You will coordinate process-area activities, manage scheduling, safety programs, KPI reporting, and staff development while maintaining sanitation and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous management experience, preferably in a dairy processing plant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong working knowledge of computer software applications
• Previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities within all process areas ensuring product meets defined scheduling and quality requirements.
• Work with Operators to organize and maximize inclusion of all raw materials and rework into production processes.
• Ensure physical characteristics are monitored hourly and products meet specs (grits, flavor, density, moisture).
• Implement and enforce safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation of the facility.
• Lead and supervise production personnel and establish education and development programs (SOPs, quality specs, safety).
• Communicate performance/KPIs to the team daily.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete shift reports; coordinate with Production Manager on records (production, QA, inventory, planning).
• Prepare nightly production reporting and support KPI evaluation with management.
• Collaborate with Process Manager and Production Manager to improve equipment capability and outputs.
• Assist with weekly/monthly production scheduling and staffing per business needs.
• Maintain and improve plant sanitation programs and ensure clean, orderly plant.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with Maintenance and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal safety/regulatory policies.
• Assist with period-end and year-end inventory balancing.
