Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate Manager of Quality & Mission Assurance in Orange, VA, to lead the Quality Engineering group and drive continuous improvement across high-complexity programs at our Culpeper/Culpeper-area site. • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years prior quality experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Experience leading quality programs and teams.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Manage day-to-day activities of the Quality Engineering group; assign personnel and priorities.
• Lead and support Quality Engineers as required; ensure flow-down requirements to suppliers and internal teams.
• Interpret drawings/specs, customer quality requirements, and company quality requirements for problem resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement using E3 tools and manage budgets and program support.
