Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Sr. Manager, Quality & Mission Assurance to lead the QA organization at Canoga Park, CA. You will oversee the Product Acceptance team and ensure products meet contractual and internal quality standards across the production lifecycle.

You will drive quality initiatives, maintain compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001, and partner with operations leadership to deliver zero-defect, on-time results. This role requires deep aerospace quality expertise and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 10+ years; without degree, 16+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years leading a Quality Inspection or Quality Organization in Aerospace/Defense manufacturing.
• Experience managing site certification with AS9100, ISO 9001.
• ASQ certification or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple QA teams across site (NDT, Metrology, In Process Inspection, Assembly/Receiving).
• Drive a strong safety culture and engage employees in quality objectives.
• Collaborate with Factory leadership, program management and other process teams.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aligned with standards and customer requirements.
• Manage budgets and staffing, identify capital investments to support quality processes.
• Travel up to 5% within the continental US.
