Barrett Petfood is seeking a Quality Mill Assurance Technician to ensure plant departments comply with quality and food safety standards. You will collect samples, perform basic tests, and document results, supporting product disposition and corrective actions.

Ideal candidates will have math, biology, and chemistry knowledge, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. GMPs and HACCP training are essential. Join our production team for a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant departments and employees follow quality standards and procedures.
• Collect samples and perform basic tests to evaluate properties of ingredients and products.
• Record and report test results to support disposition of materials and products.
• Identify quality and food safety concerns and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain quality and food safety documents and records.
• Provide training on sanitation, GMPs, HACCP and related procedures.
• Monitor paperwork accuracy across departments.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance.
