Job summary

Mid America Pet Food LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure product safety and quality across MAPF production. You will perform a broad range of tests per Quality Work Procedures, maintaining a clean and safe laboratory and reporting deviations promptly.

This self-directed role requires knowledge of MAPF policies, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work extended hours and on-call shifts when needed. Experience with NIR and mycotoxin testing is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in an analytical role is a plus.
• Experience with NIR and Mycotoxin testing is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning new software is expected.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and work area.
• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout MAPF production processes.
• Collaborate with Production Operators to interpret test results and drive improvements.
• Manage laboratory supplies and communicate needs to Quality Management.
• Enter test data accurately into MAPF systems and collect samples for projects.
