Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United States is seeking a microbiology-focused professional to support the environmental monitoring program, performing surface testing, air sampling, and data recording in accordance with cGMP.

You will conduct weekly HEPA inspections, collect water samples, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with Quality Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering to drive corrective actions. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Microbiology, Biology or related science is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of core manufacturing and support systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological analyses on raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.
• Complete all testing per local procedures and cGMP regulations.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Operate equipment such as SAS Air Sampler and Climet Particle Counter for sampling.
• Perform surface testing using plate and/or swab methods.
• Collect water samples weekly/monthly.
• Perform weekly/monthly HEPA inspections in clean-rooms.
• Conduct weekly Real Time Risk Assessments (RTRA).
• Perform IMD testing.
• Review Environmental Events/Deviations for documentation and testing.
