Job summary

Baxter Manufacturing in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Quality Lab Associate to support QC Microbiology operations. This onsite role covers microbiological testing across raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, plus environmental monitoring and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has a biology/microbiology background, LIMS experience, and familiarity with GLP/cGMP. This is a first-shift, 12+ month assignment with potential for additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or biological science, with at least 2 years in a lab.
• Proficient in LIMS and laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of GLP and cGMP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbial analyses on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Perform environmental monitoring of surfaces, air, and processes.
• Prepare media and reagents; maintain equipment and inventory.
• Document investigations and nonconformances with root cause analyses under GMP.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with SOPs, FDA, and QSR requirements.
