Baxter in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Quality Lab Associate to support microbiology operations, environmental monitoring, and product testing across drug delivery and penicillin facilities. You will perform biological testing, manage materials, and maintain data integrity in a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates have a microbiology degree with lab coursework, 0–2 years of experience, and LIMS proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in microbiology or equivalent with biology/microbiology laboratory coursework.
0–2 years of laboratory experience.
Proficient in LIMS (laboratory information management systems).
Knowledge of GLP and pharmaceutical aseptic processing cGMP is preferred.

Responsabilités

Participate in functions involving teams that impact production, efficiency, and quality.
Support LEAN improvements (5S, Kaizens, etc.).
Communicate with peers and management to address progress and issues; propose solutions.
Conduct biological testing on raw materials, in-process and final products, and environmental monitoring samples.
Perform routine facility environmental monitoring and critical systems monitoring.
Prepare media and reagents for the laboratory.
Operate laboratory instrumentation and record data in computer systems (LIMS).
Monitor inventory and stock supplies; order and receive as needed.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe lab area.
Audit and update laboratory procedures; prepare data and trend analyses for reports.
Will work in Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities as needed.
