Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Quality Lab Associate to support microbiology operations at the Round Lake, IL facility. You will handle biological testing for biologics and drugs across the manufacturing process, including environmental monitoring, raw materials, in-process, and final products.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. You will work primarily in Microbiology Laboratory operations, handling SOPs, data integrity, and cGMP

Qualifications

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin and Cephalosporin.
• Bachelor's Degree in microbiology or equivalent with biology/microbiology lab setting coursework.
• Proficient in LIMS (laboratory information management systems).
• Knowledge of GLP and pharmaceutical aseptic processing cGMP requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functions involving teams to impact production, improve quality and reduce costs.
• Conduct biological testing on raw materials, in-process and final products, and environmental samples.
• Perform routine facility environmental monitoring and critical systems monitoring.
• Prepare media and reagents; use lab instruments and data systems to collect and record data.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab area and perform regular housekeeping.
