Job summary

Baxter is seeking a microbiology professional to conduct bioburden testing on raw materials, solutions, and components within the Quality Lab at our Marion, NC site. You will operate essential lab equipment, document results in the LIMS, and ensure a clean, safe work environment following 6S principles.

Qualifications

• BS in Microbiology, Biology, or related science with 1 year microbial lab experience, OR
• 5+ years microbiology lab experience with approved training and demonstrated mastery.

Responsibilities

• Perform bioburden testing on solution and components.
• Process water samples collected by EM samplers.
• Operate lab equipment (laminar flow hoods, autoclave, incubators).
• Document cleaning and prep activities, prepare Spor-Klenz, and restock test materials.
• Review samples and enter data into LIMS.
• Maintain general housekeeping of laboratory and test suites.
• Sustain a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.
