Space Tango LLC in Lexington, KY seeks a Quality Manager to lead the development and ongoing management of a comprehensive quality system across engineering, science, and mission services.

You will collaborate with project teams, oversee audits, supplier quality, and digital workflows, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100, training staff, and driving continuous improvement on-site with travel as needed.

Competenze

• 5+ years of quality experience in engineering services, R&D, or similar environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience establishing or improving a quality management system and developing procedures.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 with audit experience.
• Ability to interpret technical docs and set quality controls.
• Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration.

Mansioni

• Assess existing quality practices and lead development and ongoing improvement of a QMS.
• Develop policies, procedures, and documentation controls that meet requirements.
• Partner with project teams to establish quality plans, reviews, inspection, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead nonconformance management, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee supplier quality, inspection practices, and handling/contamination controls.
• Train employees and drive daily adoption of quality practices.
• Lead audits, monitor quality performance, and report risks and improvements.
• Implement and improve digital quality workflows using Epsilon3 or similar tools.
