Job summary

GRIDWORKS seeks a Quality Manager to ensure top-tier workmanship and compliance across solar and BESS construction sites. You will lead inspections, mentor field teams, and drive QA/QC programs in multi-site projects.

Responsibilities include managing NCRs, coordinating with subcontractors and construction teams, and reporting quality metrics to project leadership while maintaining comprehensive inspection logs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of BESS and/or Solar construction experience, including leadership background.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor quality inspectors and field personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including reporting quality metrics and trends to project leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead site inspections and ensure detailed inspection checklists (ICLs) and reports are completed accurately.
• Develop best practices and QA/QC standards across projects.
• Train field teams in quality procedures and documentation.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions; verify closure.
• Coordinate inspections with subcontractors and construction teams; organize and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Communicate inspection results and quality trends to project leadership and clients.
