Job summary

Akima Intra-Data (AID), an Akima company, is looking for a Quality Manager to lead the quality program in El Centro, California.

You will oversee quality control activities, develop and maintain the QMS per ISO 9001:2015, conduct internal audits, and collaborate with government CORs and project teams to ensure compliance and reliability.

Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail are essential for success in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field is preferred.
• CMQ/OE certification is required or preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in QMS on large contracts.
• High school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise quality control activities to ensure standards.
• Develop and analyze statistical data to set QA standards.
• Maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with CORs.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions.
