Job summary

The Quality Manager at Brunswick's New York Mills facility leads the plant's quality strategy and Quality Management System to ensure customer satisfaction, product excellence, and compliance with Brunswick Boat Group standards.

This role partners closely with Production, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers to drive continuous improvement, reduce defects and warranty claims, and lead a high-performing quality team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or related field; ASQ Six Sigma training desired
• Skilled in statistics and capable of leading reliability, capability and SPC studies
• 5+ years’ experience in Quality management in manufacturing with assembly experience
• 5+ years leadership experience; able to coordinate teams toward task completion
• Must understand engineering drawings including GD&T; proficient in Excel and data reporting

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct day-to-day operations of the Total Quality System to exceed BBG Quality Standards
• Represent plant to promote customer requirements and quality objectives
• Build and lead a high-performance quality team through training and feedback
• Collaborate across levels to resolve problems and achieve business goals
• Promote inclusion and maintain strong customer relations
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap, rework and non-conformances
