Job summary

Brunswick Corporation’s New York Mills facility seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality strategy and QMS, ensuring customer satisfaction, product excellence, and compliance with BBG standards. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers to drive improvements and reduce defects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing quality leadership, a data-driven mindset, Six Sigma training, and the ability to lead a high-performing team while fostering safe,

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of quality policies and procedures.
• Skilled in statistics and capable of leading reliability, capability and SPC studies.
• 5+ years’ experience in Quality management in a manufacturing environment, with assembly experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience; able to coordinate teams toward task completion.
• Familiar with basic quality assurance and measurement techniques.
• Understand and explain engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Data analysis & reporting, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and control day-to-day Quality System operations to exceed BBG standards.
• Represent the plant to promote customer requirements and ensure objectives are met.
• Build and sustain a high-performance quality team through hiring, training and feedback.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Suppliers and Customers to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead problem-solving to eliminate warranty failures and reduce defects.
