PSI Molded Plastics in South Bend, Indiana is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department and sustain IATF 16949 compliance across our high-volume plastic injection molding operation.

This leadership role reports to the General Manager and focuses on developing the QA team, driving corrective actions, supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement while balancing customer expectations with operational efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive manufacturing quality experience, including leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems.
• Experience leading corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Department to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Oversee audits (internal, customer, third-party) and drive effective corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Tooling to reduce scrap and defects.
• Oversee quality inspection, metrology, document control, and containment.
