Job summary

CRP Industries is seeking a Quality Manager in our Ann Arbor area to lead quality initiatives, drive QMS compliance, and coordinate audits with a focus on supplier collaboration and process improvement.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years as a quality auditor, a 4-year degree, and ASQ certification is a plus. Join a veteran-owned company delivering Quality, Service, and Trust to North America.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years experience as a quality auditor or related role.
• ASQ Certification a plus.
• Experience with MS Office and SharePoint is beneficial.
• Industry experience in import/distribution or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define QMS structure, responsibilities and procedures to comply with ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
• Provide input to planning activities to meet ISO 9001/IATF 16949 requirements.
• Perform QC activities to ensure product quality.
• Monitor supplier quality and drive improvement initiatives.
• Use 8D/A3 problem solving to identify root causes and implement containment.
• Develop risk management approaches using FMEA and control plans.
• Ensure calibration and traceability of measurement devices.
• Plan and verify test and inspection activities.
• Provide training on quality topics to production staff and suppliers.
• Support internal and supplier audits to ensure QMS effectiveness.
• Lead continual improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
• Monitor warranty data and implement corrective actions.
