Job summary

Peninsula Plastics is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance operations and support our manufacturing excellence in a high-volume thermoforming environment. You will oversee the QMS, ensure compliance with GMP, ISO/IATF standards, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross‑functional collaboration with production and engineering, and the ability to train and mentor a team of Quality Auditors across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality management in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of QMS, ISO standards, and audits.
• Experience with SPC and GD&T.
• PPAP documentation experience.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular manufacturing audits and drive improvements.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions to address issues.
• Manage GMP, QOS, SOPs, and work instructions documentation.
• Prepare for ISO and IATF audits.
• Lead and support a team of Quality Auditors across shifts.
• Train employees on quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality concerns.
• Provide hands-on quality support on the production floor.
